The lake is approximately 380 acres. It is spring fed for
a mostly constant level.
Lake is stocked with black crappie, large mouth black bass. There are also plenty of
catfish, channel, blue cat, and more.
There is also a small lake (25 acres) with no motors allowed.

Yes, the two sub-divisions have different restrictions
and requirements.
Callender Lake is a private lake made up of two gated sub-divisions, "Callender
Lake" and "Hickory Hills". The only
way to gain access to the lake is to own property there or be a guest of a property owner.
It is a constant level lake, one of
only a few in Texas. Jet Skis, Power boats, sailing boats, and fishing boats are all
allowed. However because this is a private lake
there is very little traffic. Both sides allow boat docks. The two sub-divisions have
different restrictions and requirements.
Callender Lake side only allows site built homes and has more restrictions than the
Hickory Hills side.
The Callender
Lake side has a community boat ramp, fishing pier, children's park,
and a swim beach with picnic areas and bathrooms.
The Hickory Hills side has the following amenities:
