This property is located on a County Road not far from Emory in Rains County,
but the land all around this tract is owned by a Sour Gas compressor plant
located across
the road from this tract. No hunting is allowed on the tracts owned by the
Gas Plant, so the hunting
is particularly good on this one. The compressor plant makes noise and
puts off an odor, but
is not dangerous to people or wildlife. In fact this tract has abundant
wildlife including
deer, wild hogs and other local game. There are currently horses and
donkeys kept
on the land. It has good pasture, a nice big pond and is about 20% woods.
If you are looking for a hunting place close to Lake Fork to have a great
recreational tract, then this one could be it. Give us and call and come see it.

These first pictures show the nice open pasture land that has been used to raise
and graze cattle,
horses and donkeys. the front part of the land is open is somewhat rolling
terrain and good
grass. There is good fencing along the CR with trees along the road to
provide privacy.
The woods are toward the back, about 20% of the land, which gives nice cover
for the abundant wildlife as well as shade to the livestock in the warm months.
