Edom is a great community in the Southern part of Van Zandt County.  Not only
is it a popular area, but the land is fertile and many vegetables have been
grown on this land.  This 67±AC has long frontage along CR 4609, but also
has frontage along FM279 in Edom.  This land has been in cultivation for many
years.  Much of the land is bottom land, but it useful for growing food or
grazing livestock.  There are also some nice woods along the creek
and a couple of ponds, plus a metal building.  Some of the land on
CR 4609 is suitable for building a home or more outbuildings.

Pictures above are taken from across the paved CR 4609.  The hilltop where pictures were taken is
not part of the property for sale.  The land with the open farmland and the outbuildings is the
67AC for sale which included a 9AC pasture on FM 279.  A creek runs thru the woods
at the back of these pictures and between the pastures on CR 4609 and the land on 279.

Two spring fed ponds have been used to irrigate this land.  Ponds have also been used for fishing. Seller
says there are springs multiple places underground on this land.  There is also a 3rd pond.
